Mission Critical Software Inc. and NetIQ Corp. have finalized the merger the companies announced earlier this year. The new company will be called NetIQ Corp.
Mission Critical (www.missioncritical.com) and NetIQ (www.netiq.com) both produce network management and monitoring tools. NetIQ’s flagship product, AppManager, is a Windows-centric framework that uses plugins for a variety of applications. The addition of Mission Critical’s software and technology provides a greater diversity of tools that can be integrated into the NetIQ product family.
Each Mission Critical shareholder will receive .9413 share of NetIQ stock for each Mission Critical share. - Christopher McConnell
