IBIS and Inacom team up to offer Microsoft training in Atlanta.

Systems announced Tuesday a partnership to offer Inacom's Microsoft
Education Services to companies in the metro Atlanta area at IBIS'
training center in Norcross, Ga.
IBIS is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with competencies in
Microsoft Business Solutions, Advanced Infrastructure, Networking
Infrastructure and ISV/Software Solutions. IBIS is also a Microsoft
Business Solutions Inner Circle Partner and two-time winner of Microsoft's
Outstanding Partner of the United States award.
Inacom is Microsoft's 2004 Worldwide Learning Solutions Partner
of the Year and a Microsoft Gold Certified partner with five competencies:
Learning Solutions, Advanced Infrastructure, Integrated E-Business,
Security and Information Worker.

Partnerships:
- CustomWeather

the multi-year agreement, CustomWeather’s global weather
content will be available through The Carbon Project’s
software tools.
- Lucid8
(Bellevue, Wash.), a Microsoft Certified Partner and provider
of automated, preventative maintenance software for Microsoft
Exchange Server, and AfterMail
(Wellington, New Zealand), a maker of enterprise e-mail
management software, announced an agreement Sept. 12 to
jointly offer Lucid8’s GOexchange 3.1 software with
AfterMail.
Mergers and Acquisitions:
- Optimus
Solutions (Norcross, Ga.), a provider of various IT
solutions, acquired Eagle
Technology Consultants (Atlanta, Ga.), a provider of
custom IT solutions and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner,
on Sept. 20. Eagle Technology’s offerings include
mobile applications and collaborative solutions based on
IBM Domino and Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Solutions
Consulting Group (San Diego, Calif.) acquired LightEdge
Solution’s (Des Moines, Iowa) Microsoft Dynamics
division in Phoenix, Ariz, on Sept. 20. Under the merger,
LightEdge will market SCG’s Microsoft Dynamics consulting
services and SCG will market LightEdge’s fully managed
VoIP and data services.
