SPSS Adds Web Mining Capabilities in Clementine 6.0

With the Internet continuing to grow, the need for companies
to effectively analyze their Web data has increased. Recognizing this, SPSS
Inc. has added data mining applications specifically designed for Web mining in
the release of Clementine 6.0, the latest version of its data mining workbench.
Version 6.0 is the first to offer a Web mining application template. This
template allows users to start their Web mining projects, regardless of whether
a company has previous experience mining Web data. Clementine also includes a
data mapping tool to aid users in applying the templates to their own data.
The latest version of Clementine 6.0 also includes: powerful
new algorithms, improved scalability and deployment, SAS Import and Export
Nodes (Clementine now allows importing from and exporting to SAS software for
Windows version 6, 7, and 8.
