Luware Adds CRM-Based Client for Microsoft Teams Contact Centers

Luware has introduced NimbusOne, a new client for its Nimbus cloud contact center platform that lets agents work outside the Microsoft Teams client while continuing to use Teams-based telephony. Luware also announced that Microsoft has certified Luware Nimbus for Unify, the integration model behind the new client.

NimbusOne can operate directly within Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365 or as a customizable agent desktop. Employees whose workflows are suited to Teams can continue using the existing Nimbus interface, with both options managed through the same administration environment.

A dual-persona capability separates customer interactions from employees' everyday communications. Customer calls appear in NimbusOne, while personal calls, meetings and chats remain in Teams, despite both using the same phone system.

The client also provides real-time AI transcription and summarization, generating call notes while conversations are underway rather than processing them only after calls end.

NimbusOne is built on Microsoft's Unify integration model, which uses Azure Communication Services to process calls while allowing organizations to retain their existing Teams Phone infrastructure and numbers. Luware said it is one of 10 organizations worldwide certified by Microsoft for Unify.

For enterprise IT teams, the architecture provides an alternative to deploying separate contact center platforms for employees with different workflows while preserving centralized management across Teams, CRM-based and dedicated agent experiences.

NimbusOne is available now to new and existing Luware Nimbus customers.
