W. Quinn Associates Inc. announced the general availability
of SpaceMaXX SRM, its suite of storage management reporting tools for desktops,
server-attached storage, storage-attached networks, and network-attached
storage (NAS) devices. This new product family is available in two editions,
Server and Professional.
SpaceMaXX SRM monitors disk space consumption at the
partition level, enables usage thresholds to be set on specific drives, and
takes pre-determined actions to regain wasted disk space. It also features a
pre-configured set of best practice tools for quickly identifying large
volumes of disk space that have been wasted by MP3 files and other media files,
outdated files, and duplicate files, among others.
SpaceMaXX SRM Server runs on Windows NT/2000, 9X servers and
NAS devices, while SRM Professional runs on single Windows NT/2000, 95, 98, or
Millennium Edition desktop computers.
