Avtech Introduces PageR Enterprise 1.5

Avtech Software Inc. introduced PageR Enterprise 1.5 for enterprise system, server, and network monitoring. The new version is focused on e-mail servers and features monitored object tools for Lotus Domino Server and Microsoft Exchange Server.

New features include the e-mail checker that can read e-mail messages on an e-mail server and examine the subject or body of a message for user-defined text strings to generate alarms or execute actions if specific strings are found. This allows managers to send e-mail to PageR that can initiate actions such as starting applications, rebooting systems, and running scripts or tasks.

Enhancements have also been made to the Web interface and Web status screens, Monitored Objects and Alarm Objects screens, Ping Alarm messaging, and others.
