3Com Rolls Out New Networking Family

3Com Corp. announced a new line of networking products. The family is known as SuperStack and consists of several Ethernet switches.

The SuperStack 3 Switch 4900 offers Gigabit Ethernet over either copper wiring or fiber and Layer 3 switching. The SuperStack 3 Switch 3300s are six new models of stackable 10/100/1000 Mbps switches. Additionally, 3Com is announcing a new line of Web-enablement products based on the SuperStack 3 line, and feature Web caching, content switching, and firewall security.
