OSA Releases NetDeploy Global for Microsoft SMS

Open Software Associates (OSA) announced the release of its NetDeploy Global for Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), a companion product extending SMS software distribution beyond the firewall and providing improved coverage and application version management.

NetDeploy Global provides full lifecycle software management for large organizations. New features in NetDeploy Global for Microsoft SMS include software distribution through firewalls; global support for mobile laptop users; inter-location delivery without using a CD-ROM; SmartPull distribution, using differential downloads to improve performance; and Microsoft Operations Framework and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practice software management.
