Compaq Unveils Clustering Products

Compaq Computer Corp. today announced two clustering products designed to address business critical server-to-server scalability and availability in the high end.

Compaq released its ServerNet II high speed interconnect technology for business critical server architectures which provides added performance and reliability while scaling with industry-standard servers.

Compaq also released its two-node ProLiant HA/F200 cluster for applications and data in business-critical environments. The new clusters support Windows 2000 Advanced Server, as well as Windows NT.
