Chaparral Network Storage Inc. announced it is shipping Ultra 160 RAID controllers. Chaparral's G-Series Ultra 160 RAID controllers include the G7324 and G6322 models.
Chaparral's third-generation G-Series RAID controllers are designed for mission-critical applications requiring the highest levels of performance and data reliability. The G7324 Fibre Channel-to-Ultra 160 SCSI offers continuous access to data and a connection to Fibre Channel SANs. The G6322 Ultra 160-to-Ultra 160 ensures data availability in SCSI environments and offers flexible configurations to fit users' storage needs.
Both the G7324 and G6322 feature dual controller Active-Active failover. Active-Active failover allows continuous operations should an individual controller fail and allows individual controllers to be taken offline for firmware upgrade operations.
