Celotek, CellStack Demonstrate Encrypted Digital Videoconferencing

Celotek Corp. and CellStack Systems Inc. demonstrated a booth-to-booth, secure encrypted digital video conference over OC-3 connections at NetWorld + Interop in Las Vegas.

The demonstration utilized Celotek's (www.celotek.com) CellCase155 cryptographic systems, OC-3 rate ATM encryptors designed for commercial, high-speed network security, and CellStack's (www.cellstack.com) Capella Video codecs, standalone units designed to provide two-way video, high-quality stereo audio, and data across any ATM infrastructure.

Each booth housed a CellCase155 and a Capella codec. The demo showed the encryption of multimedia transmissions via point to point permanent virtual circuits (PVCs) over OC-3 ATM lines. - Isaac Slepner
