SSH and Celotek Partner for IPSec Adapters

SSH Communications Security and Celotek Corp. have partnered on integrating Celotek’s IPSec adapters with SSH’s IPSec Express Toolkit. The software/hardware combination creates an integrated system for network security.

Celotek’s (www.celotek.com) IPSec adapters will take advantage of APIs in SSH’s (www.ssh.com) IPSec Express Toolkit, enabling the hardware to process encryption protocols on the adapter, rather than the CPU, extending the utility of the IPSec adapter. In addition, the adapters can be directly monitored through SSH’s management interface.

IPSec is an encryption protocol for enabling hardware encryption/decryption on network adapters. A variety of vendors currently offer IPSec adapters, which are often used for VPNs and securing departments within an organization. - Christopher McConnell
