NovaStor Releases Tape Backup for W2K

NovaStor Corp. has released its new NovaNET 8 network tape backup software with support for Windows 2000, Windows NT, Linux, and Novell NetWare networks. Each NovaNET 8 server backup product includes free autoloader support and the ability to be managed from the administrator's desktop.

In addition to NovaNET 8, NovaStor has released two new plug-ins. The Disaster Recovery plug-in enables users to boot from floppy disks or a CD and quickly recover the contents of a failed system. The new Storage Area Network (SAN) plug-in enables NovaNET 8 to function more effectively with Fibre Channel backup networks. NovaNET 8 also supports plug-ins for SQL Server, Exchange Server, open file backup, clustered servers, and advanced autoloaders.
