Banner Software Releases Test Data Generator

Banner Software has released Datatect 1.3, a Windows utility that generates custom test data for PC mainframe and client/server applications.

Datatect can read in existing database table structures for Oracle, Sybase, Informix, Access, or any other database that supports ODBC. Using these structures as a model, Datatect lets users create valid test data in any form, field content, and volume. Datatect generates native database tables, both relational and non-relational, which can be written directly to the database. It can also create ASCII flat files with fixed and variable length fields and records using any Delimiter (including no Delimiters).

Datatect runs on Windows 95 and NT.
