Silvon Releases New Business Solution

Silvon Software Inc. released its Trade Funds Management and Promotional Planning product. The new product, part of the company's suite of business analytic applications, was created to help manufacturing, distribution, and retail organizations.

The new product is for companies that use funds to increase sales, but need help in figuring out how the funds are allocated, how they are accounted for, and how effective the spending has been in promoting products and sales.

The maintenance capability allows users to create funds and commitments directly or to import the information from an application such as Microsoft Excel. The analysis function then lets users see their commitment allocations, planned versus actual spending, and the effectiveness of trade promotions.

Silvon's Trade Funds Management and Promotional Planning product runs on Windows NT, but requires the Silvon DataTracker data warehousing processing application platform. Licensing starts at about $50,000.
