Netwrix Adds AI Governance Features for Hybrid Microsoft Environments
Netwrix has introduced new AI governance capabilities aimed at helping organizations oversee artificial intelligence deployments across hybrid Microsoft environments, within its 1Secure™ SaaS platform.
The enhancements to 1Secure extend recent innovations like Copilot activity monitoring and risk assessments with additional capabilities focused on visibility and speed. The goal is to help organizations address governance, compliance and security requirements as AI adoption accelerates. Updates include Netwrix Neo, a sensitive data posture dashboard, PingCastle-powered checks across Active Directory, GPO auditing and Windows server activity reporting. Netwrix 1Secure now offers visibility, continuous monitoring, and control across hybrid Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Windows File Servers and SQL Server.
Netwrix said the new features enable IT and security teams to monitor permissions, assess data exposure risks and establish controls around AI access to sensitive information. The capabilities are intended to support organizations deploying generative AI and agent-based technologies while maintaining oversight of data usage and regulatory obligations.
