Blackbaud is integrating Raiser’s Edge NXT with Microsoft 365 Copilot, giving nonprofit fundraising teams another way to access donor and fundraising information through the applications they use for daily work. With the Copilot integration, customers can choose to access insights and information from Raiser's Edge NXT in Microsoft 365 to support faster decision-making and more effective engagement.

The integration allows authorized users to bring Raiser’s Edge NXT intelligence into Microsoft 365 Copilot, reducing the need to switch between applications when researching constituents or preparing fundraising activities. Blackbaud said the connection is intended to make its fundraising data available within AI-assisted workflows while preserving existing permissions and security controls.

The companies are also using Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI applications with external systems and data.
