Kyndryl Expands Sovereignty Services Through Microsoft Partnership

The expanded services leverage Microsoft Cloud technologies to support customers operating in highly regulated industries and regions with strict data governance mandates. The offering is intended to help organizations manage cloud adoption while maintaining control over sensitive data, workloads and operational processes.
Kyndryl will support implementation and ongoing operations using sovereignty-ready architectures that incorporate Microsoft Sovereign Cloud capabilities, including public cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, and sovereign private cloud solutions using Azure Local in connected and disconnected deployment models designed to support varying levels of data residency, operational independence and jurisdictional control as needed.
Kyndryl said the enhanced collaboration combines its consulting and managed services expertise with Microsoft's cloud platform to assist customers in designing and operating sovereign cloud environments. The services focus on helping enterprises align cloud deployments with local legal, regulatory and industry-specific requirements.
