RCP: What's the elevator pitch for your company to a Microsoft partner?
James: StorageCraft is a Microsoft Gold ISV Competency partner that makes disaster recovery solutions for Windows servers, desktops and laptops. If you are a solution provider who supports companies with Windows systems, StorageCraft is an excellent company to partner with. Not only do we have award-winning, best-in-class backup and disaster recovery technology in our StorageCraft ShadowProtect line, but we also have an excellent partner program. The StorageCraft Profit-Ability Partner Program includes a no-cost reseller program as well as a program tailored specifically for managed service providers.

For partners who may not have thought about your company since the last WPC, what would they need to know about what you've been up to for the past 12 months?
In the past year, StorageCraft has added new tools and functionality that improve overall management of backups and replication off-site, giving our partners an end-to-end disaster recovery solution. We also recently made a pre-announcement of StorageCraft Cloud Services -- our new cloud offering that will be available in early fall. With StorageCraft Cloud Services, our partners will have the ability to failover a server in the cloud in minutes. This will allow them to provide a new level of disaster recovery and business continuity services to their customers. In the past six months StorageCraft added a new training and certification program to help our partners provide better backup and disaster recovery services to their customers.

Out of your entire product portfolio, what's the product or service that Microsoft partners should be aware of right now?
A couple of months ago we announced a new solution -- StorageCraft ShadowControl CMD. ShadowControl CMD allows IT professionals and managed service providers to remotely monitor every ShadowProtect backup in their environment to ensure they're running properly and that they can be recovered quickly when needed.

Are you announcing anything at WPC?
We are showcasing our pre-announcement of StorageCraft Cloud Services, which will allow our partners to failover in the cloud in minutes.

What should Microsoft partners keep an eye out for from your company over the next year?
StorageCraft Cloud Services will be available in early fall, so partners will want to keep an eye out for that. Stop by our booth and get on the list to be updated on all information available leading up to the release of StorageCraft Cloud Services. Later this fall we will also release an update to ShadowControl CMD. Not only will partners be able to remotely monitor their ShadowProtect backups, there will be added management features, allowing them to remotely install ShadowProtect.

Why should someone visit your booth this year (free stuff, amazing demo, contest, promotion, etc.)?
During Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, StorageCraft will give away licenses of ShadowProtect Desktop to the first 500 visitors to our booth. Stop by and learn more about our award-winning backup and disaster recovery software and find out why so many partners are standardizing on ShadowProtect. We are also showcasing our partnership with Intel and the Intel Hybrid Cloud.

As a company, what are your goals for WPC this year?
Earlier this year we announced our Microsoft Gold ISV Competency and we are excited to continue our focus on partnership with Microsoft. We help Microsoft partners provide profitable disaster recovery and business continuity solutions to their customers. We are also focused on improvements to our partner program so that we can help current StorageCraft partners and potential StorageCraft partners maximize their disaster recovery service offering.

What's the profile of the ideal partner you're hoping to connect with at WPC this year?
StorageCraft is looking for partners who are interested in providing backup and disaster recovery services to their customers. StorageCraft provides scalable technology solutions and as well as partner opportunities that support small SMBs to larger mid-enterprise companies. Anyone who supports Windows servers, desktops or laptops are partners, we would like to meet.
