MCITP: Enterprise Support Upgrade Exam Hits Beta Phase

Upgrade exam for MCDST certification holders goes through testing rigors in next two weeks.

Microsoft this week launched into beta testing a key exam for those who hold the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician title. Exam 70-621 PRO: Upgrading Your MCDST Certification to MCITP Enterprise Support was made available at Prometric and Vue testing centers on Dec. 20, with beta testing ending Jan. 12, 2007.

The exam is the sole requirement, and those who pass earn the title once it goes live sometime in late January 2007.

Registration opened up on Dec. 19 and only those who receive an invitation from Microsoft to the take the beta are eligible. Beta exams are free, according to Microsoft.
