Texas picks Winternals Software to provide system recovery solution.

Winternals Software announced Sept. 26 that the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has chosen Winternals Software to provide enterprise system recovery and performance optimization solutions at multiple sites throughout Texas. HHSC purchased enterprise licenses for three major Winternals products -- Recovery Manager, Defrag Manager and Administrator's Pak -- through Endurics, an Elite partner in the Winternals Edge channel program.

The Winternals products will be implemented on Windows servers running essential Web, portal, services, reporting, process, identity management and database warehousing applications.

"The Texas Health and Human Services Commission deal was one of our largest sales since joining the Winternals Edge channel partner program, and it's indicative of the opportunities that exist for Winternals' solutions in the Windows enterprise market," said Kevin Connell, CTO of Endurics. "Major organizations like the Texas HHSC are increasingly showing interest in Winternals' ability to deliver enterprise-wide system recovery and performance optimization from a central console."

Winternals Software is a provider of Microsoft systems recovery and data protection solutions and is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
