McData Unveils 32-port Fabric Switch

McData Corp. previewed its 32-port ES-3032 Fabric Switch for storage networking this week.

Limited quantities of the switch will be available in March, with full availability slated for April.

The switch includes several features ported down from higher end products. They include hot plug, redundant power supplies, fans and optics; on-line diagnostics; non-disruptive firmware updates; and fault isolation tools for network-wide activity.
