GFI Launches Mail essentials for Exchange

GFI launched Mail essentials for Exchange/SMTP 3.5, its e-mail security, content checking, and anti-virus gateway that can now guard e-mail servers from all present and future macro viruses and HTML viruses.

Mail essentials can also block e-mails and attachments that contain VBScript, Windows scripting, and Java scripts at the server level. It functions as an e-mail firewall and can quarantine any messages that may contain viruses in order to protect end users.

Mail essentials features content checking and filtering; virus checking of all e-mail; and archiving of all e-mail, POP3 downloading, and server-based auto replies.
