New Web Monitoring Tool Gives Picture of Web Experience

Landmark Systems Corp. announced a new Web site monitoring tool called WebWatcher. WebWatcher provides a complete view of the experience of visitors connected to a Web site.

WebWatcher provides constant and immediate feedback on Web-based marketing programs by identifying the success rate of each step in the process. WebWatcher also provides detailed information on how the site is running and isolates bottlenecks so they can be resolved. It measures response times from the end user's perspective, and breaks the figures down into server response times and network latency.

User data is collected anonymously and in aggregate, with a dynamically loaded Java applet as the user connects to the site.
