Broadbase Acquires Decisionism

Broadbase Software Inc. has announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire analytical solutions provider Decisionism Inc.

By combining its product offerings with those of Decisionism, Broadbase expects to provide users with more robust analytical solutions for their business-to-business (B2B) digital marketplaces.

Broadbase(www.broadbase.com) expects to release a new product in the fourth quarter 2000 that combines the expertise of both companies. The new offering will help suppliers and buyers analyze the interactions that occur in e-marketplaces. By giving customers views of transactional, operational, and profile information, Broadbase will enable its users to improve business performance and make business operations more cost effective.

Under the terms of the agreement, Broadbase will issue 475,000 shares of common stock in exchange for all securities of Decisionism. –Alicia Costanza
