Amdahl Introduces TDMF Software

Amdahl Corp. announced the upgrade of its transparent data migration facility (TDMF) software. Version 2 adds several new enhancements to the software.

Enhancements include interfaces with third party utilities for easier backup; fast copy, reducing the amount of time necessary to migrate a volume; target volume empty for extra protection; reverse pacing; and offline volume access.
