HP Introduces Print Service Agreement

Hewlett-Packard Co. unveiled HP PrintAdvantage, a solution that enables commercial and large corporations to manage their print environments via a fixed monthly payment. PrintAdvantage is a streamlined procurement and service plan that provides technology, toner supplies, and support through a single monthly payment.

HP PrintAdvantage is a 100 percent usage-based program. Customers can choose any combination of HP Laser Jet printers and they can pay for these products on a monthly basis according to estimated usage. They can then upgrade to next-generation products at the end of the contract. The monthly fee is fully inclusive of service, support, and supplies and is fixed according to the customer's toner usage model for 12 months. The service is offered through qualified resellers and requires an initial order of $50,000.
