CA Releases Unicenter TND Beta

Computer Associates Inc. has released a beta of their next release of Unicenter, Unicenter TND.

TND is an acronym for "The Next Dimension" - the new version includes time based monitoring reports, allowing users to get a sense of performance and use trends over time, rather than as static numbers.

The new release also offers a new interface, which CA refers to as a portal, offering hierarchical views into network management information.

Finally, the new release will have a greater emphasis placed on applications and the commensurate performance needs, and offers load balancing functions.
