Kingston Expands Network Support for PPPOE

Kingston Technology Co. Inc. announced the addition of Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPOE) support for Kingston's EtheRx 10/100TX Internet Access Router.

The EtheRx Multi-port Broadband Router integrates auto-sensing 10/100 dual speed hub functionality directly into a broadband router. By doing so, it creates an integrated solution that allows multiple users to share a single high-speed Internet connection. Configuration is accomplished through a browser-based interface, and a built-in hardware firewall protects the network.
