NetIQ Accelerates W2K Migration with Server Consolidator

NetIQ Corp. announced the availability of its NetIQ Server Consolidator, a product that automates formerly labor-intensive tasks involved in domain migration.

Server Consolidator automates tasks such as re-creating hundreds of user home shares and migrating millions of NTFS files and their permissions between servers, cluster servers, and NAS devices. Server Consolidator decreases the total cost of ownership as well as the time and resources needed to synchronize server files by providing IT managers the features they need to migrate to Windows 2000. It also integrates with NetIQ's Domain Migration Administrator to provide comprehensive coverage for their migration and consolidation needs.
