SCSI Trade Association Brings Product List Live

The SCSI Trade Association (STA, www.scsita.org) announced a new online product list that will link users to a wide variety of SCSI products. The list gives the computing industry a single source to search the multitude of SCSI products currently available.

The list, which can be found at the STA Web site, is initially being offered only to STA members. It provides a list of vendors and products in virtually every SCSI-related category, including cables and connectors, host systems, bus expanders and switches, and RAID subsystems. Initially, more than 100 SCSI products will be featured, with additional products to be added in the fall. The list is searchable by product category, company name, generation of SCSI, product name and description. It provides direct links to vendors' Web sites and, in some cases, online order capability. The site will be open to non-members later this year.

The STA was formed in 1995 to promote the use and understanding of SCSI technology, to provide a focal point for communicating SCSI benefits, and to influence the evolution of SCSI into the future.
