EY and Microsoft Launch Global Initiative to Scale Enterprise AI Adoption

EY and Microsoft have announced a global initiative focused on helping enterprises scale artificial intelligence adoption across business operations. Investing more than $1 billion over a five year period, the expanded partnership aims to launch a global initiative that brings Microsoft's Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) and EY industry professionals together to accelerate AI adoption across management delivery models. Together, they will co-develop and provide secure, industry-specific AI solutions focused on clients’ highest value business opportunities. The effort is designed to support organizations moving beyond experimental AI projects toward enterprise-wide deployment and measurable business outcomes.

Underpinned by EY as Client Zero, the initiative uses EY's own teams to validate the use of Microsoft technologies, including Copilot, Microsoft 365 E7: Frontier Suite, AI in Power Platforms and a multi-agent framework integrated with Azure, Foundry and Fabric as well as Azure AI Document Intelligence.

EY said the collaboration will focus on helping customers integrate AI into workflows, improve operational efficiency and accelerate decision-making. The initiative also aims to address governance, risk management and organizational readiness as enterprises expand AI usage across departments and industries.
