Nerdio Releases Enterprise 8.0 to Modernize End-User Computing Infrastructure

Nerdio has released version 8.0 of Nerdio Manager for Enterprise, introducing new capabilities aimed at helping organizations modernize end-user computing environments. The update focuses on simplifying management of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 deployments, with enhancements designed to improve automation, cost control and operational efficiency. The platform enables IT teams to manage cloud desktop infrastructure through a centralized interface while supporting gradual migration from legacy environments.

The release is intended to give organizations flexibility in how they modernize, allowing them to adopt cloud-based desktops at their own pace rather than through large-scale transitions. Nerdio Manager for Enterprise 8.0 offers a simplified Nerdio Manager installation process, assesses Windows 365 and Azure VD modernization readiness, can rapidly scale Windows Cloud infrastructure, offers simplified Intune policy and script management and expands Windows Cloud with physical endpoint insights.

The update also expands tools for monitoring, provisioning and lifecycle management, supporting enterprises with distributed workforces and hybrid infrastructure. Organizations continue to shift toward cloud-based end-user computing models to support remote and hybrid work. The release is set to launch in public preview by late May.
