Goings On at TechEd -- Redmond Channel Partner

There have been quite a few of items of note thus far at TechEd, including:

Microsoft adding IIS7 as a core installation on Windows Server 2008
Redmond giving us the first Community Technology Preview of SQL Server 2008 and
Microsoft dropping the code names and giving us real product names (however uncool) for a couple of forthcoming releases, including the next edition of Visual Studio

Bob Muglia's keynote also got a couple of contrasting views in the trade press. Muglia is Microsoft's senior vice president for Windows Server.
