Microsoft Tops $90B Quarterly Revenue as Azure Hits $100B Annual Milestone

Microsoft reported record fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results on Wednesday, July 29, driven by continued strength in Azure and growing enterprise adoption of its AI offerings.
For the quarter ended June 30, Microsoft posted revenue of $90 billion, up 18% year over year. Net income increased 31% to $35.8 billion, while diluted earnings per share rose 32% to $4.81.
For the full fiscal year, revenue climbed 18% to $331.8 billion.
Microsoft Cloud revenue reached $59.3 billion during the quarter, a 27% increase, while Azure and other cloud services revenue grew 43%. The company also revealed that Azure generated more than $100 billion in annual revenue for the first time.

"We are advancing the frontier on the cost-to-outcome curve, ensuring every customer can turn tokens into business results," Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said.
"This year, Azure revenue surpassed $100 billion for the first time, and Microsoft 365 Copilot reached over 30 million paid seats, reflecting the confidence customers are placing in us to power their AI transformation."
Microsoft's Intelligent Cloud business generated $39.3 billion in quarterly revenue, up 32 %, while Productivity and Business Processes grew 14% to $37.8 billion.
Revenue in More Personal Computing declined 4% to $12.9 billion.
The company also said commercial remaining performance obligation grew 84% to $678 billion and returned $10.2 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases during the quarter.
"We delivered results that exceeded expectations across revenue, operating income, and earnings per share driven by strong demand and execution," said Microsoft CFO Amy Hood.
