Zeacom (Booth #345)

<< BACK TO WPC EXPO HALL GUIDE

Name: Brady Cox
Title: Vice President, Business Development, at Zeacom

RCP: What's the elevator pitch for your company to a Microsoft partner?
Cox: Zeacom is a certified Gold (ISV and UC) partner of Microsoft that offers contact center solutions integrated with Lync. Within all the contact center providers on Lync, we are the third-largest company in regard to revenue and resources (number of employees). Because we have channel managers and sales engineers located throughout the U.S., we have the capacity to assist our partners in all aspects of presales activity, installation and first-level support until they're able to operate solely. In addition, we offer full certification and training to all our partners.

ZCC uses Microsoft's native UCMA to control Lync and trusted conferences to hold the call as opposed to a separate SIP PBX.  ZCC extends Lync's reach into the contact center.

For partners who may not have thought about your company since the last WPC, what would they need to know about what you've been up to for the past 12 months?
Since January 2012, we have gone live on Lync, offering Lync customers a migration path from legacy voice platforms.

Out of your entire product portfolio, what's the product or service that Microsoft partners should be aware of right now?
Multimedia Contact Center, offering Lync customers the ability to queue calls, e-mails, Web chats, faxes and requests for call back. Also [we're] offering Lync customers a migration path to Lync.

Are you announcing anything at WPC?
ZCC Helpdesk for Microsoft Lync, offering IT Help Desks the ability to track, manage and report on multimedia calls to the Help Desk, increasing service levels.

What should Microsoft partners keep an eye out for from your company over the next year?
Aside from the next release of our software (ZCC 6.2), expect to see Zeacom developing new partner agreements and new customers using Lync for their contact centers.

Why should someone visit your booth this year (free stuff, amazing demo, contest, promotion, etc.)?

  • Two live demos showcasing ZCC on Lync.
  • Shoe Shine model.
  • Enter for a chance to win an LG 47-inch TV.

As a company, what are your goals for WPC this year?
Meeting new partners and strengthening current ones

What's the profile of the ideal partner you're hoping to connect with at WPC this year?
We are looking for partners with a vibrant Lync voice practice who need a native Lync contact center software solution to complete their Lync practice.

Who are some of your team members a partner might meet at your booth (names and titles)?
Miles Valentine, chief executive officer; Ernie Wallerstein, president, Americas; Brady Cox, vice president, business development; Damon Carter, director of U.S. business development, Lync; Brian Hunt, director of sales engineering; Jason Weaver, sales engineer; Dorian Sidhu, channel manager; Beatriz Plenge, associate marketing manager.

For partners' post-show follow-up, who should they contact and how (phone number or e-mail address)?
Global: Brady Cox at [email protected] or (949) 263-4387.
U.S.: Damon Carter at [email protected] or (949) 428-9250.
