Microsoft Dynamics SL Generally Available

Microsoft Dynamics SL 6.5 will be generally available on Monday in the United States and Canada, Microsoft said.

Dynamics SL is the new name for the business management application formerly sold as Microsoft Business Solutions-Solomon. Microsoft is in the process of switching the names of most of the Microsoft Business Solutions products to Microsoft Dynamics as new versions come out.

New features of this point release of Solomon include an expanded Windows SharePoint Services-based portal, numerous enhancements for project-driven organizations and distributors, a new Purchase Requisition module and a new Bank Reconciliation module.

Versions for Mexico and some other locations are planned for availability by the end of January.
