Intervoice releases voice/data solutions for Microsoft Speech Server.

Converged voice and data solutions provider Intervoice Inc. announced three new solutions for Microsoft Speech Server (MSS). Built to integrate with MSS 2004 R2 and utilizing Microsoft's .NET infrastructure, these solutions speech-enable key enterprise business processes via voice over IP.

"These new solutions are addressing a need among customers by providing VoIP connectivity options and expanding critical business reporting capabilities," said Clint Patterson, director of marketing for Microsoft Speech Server. "Intervoice shares our vision for making speech a mainstream, pervasive technology and solutions like this help our customers maximize their communication investments, increase productivity and reduce costs."

The solutions -- Intervoice Session Initiation Protocol Telephony Interface Manager, the Intervoice Business Reporting Suite and the Intervoice Alert Monitor -- are certified for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard and Enterprise Editions. They help customers to implement VoIP-enabled voice applications on the MSS platform, provide customized business application reporting, and alerting and predictive monitoring of voice automation programs.

"By developing these solutions for Microsoft Speech Server, Intervoice is providing VoIP connectivity options, advanced business intelligence functions, key monitoring capabilities, and safe migration paths for customers dedicated to the platform," said Michael Segura, director of Microsoft Product and Strategy at Intervoice. "Now our joint customers can realize the business value of speech adoption, including reduced TCO, increased customer satisfaction, increased employee productivity and additional revenue-generating opportunities, ultimately increasing the ROI on their Intervoice and Microsoft speech solutions."
