Globix teams up with Apptix to deliver enhanced Hosted Exchange service; Manakoa partners with Interlink; and Tectura acquires ESG.

Globix Corporation, a provider of application, media, IP infrastructure and network services headquartered in New York, Tuesday announced upgrades to its Hosted Exchange service through its partnership with Apptix, a service automation software and solutions provider for the outsourced messaging services market.

Globix' Hosted Exchange service allows customers to utilize Microsoft Exchange Enterprise Server capabilities within the hosting and management environment of Globix. Enabled by Apptix, Globix' Hosted Exchange service delivers robust functionality such as e-mail, public folders, calendaring, contact and task management, distribution groups, synchronization and wireless access via PDA devices.

Apptix is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Hosting and Application Services and was named by Microsoft in 2002 as the Global Service Provider of the Year for Hosting and Applications Services. Apptix is based in Herndon, Va.
