Commerce One Aims B2B Solutions for .NET

Commerce One, an e-business solutions provider, is collaborating with Microsoft Corp. on the development and delivery of business to business infrastructure technologies optimized for the .NET platform, targeting buyer/supplier participation at reasonable costs.

Commerce One will deliver XML standards-based solutions built on .NET enterprise servers and framework, initially deployed with Commerce One's Net Market Maker solution. Future iterations will include MarketSet, now offered by Commerce One and SAPMarkets, Inc. All current solutions offered by Commerce One will be optimized for the Windows 2000 operating system and SQL Server 2000, as well as support for BizTalk Server 2000.
