CNT Releases Optical Networking Products

Computer Network Technology announced the UltraNet Wave Multiplexer 7600 and UltraNet Optical Multiplexer 7500 optical networking products.

The UltraNet Wave Multiplexer 7600 is a dense wave division multiplexer (DWDM), which uses multiple lasers to transmit multiple light signals simultaneously over a single optical fiber, enabling existing fiber infrastructure to be greatly increased. The UltraNet Optical Multiplexer 7500 is a time division multiplexer (TDM), which transmits multiple signals simultaneously over a single transmission path, allowing lower-speed signals to be time sliced into one high-speed transmission and re-divided into a lower speed on the receiving end.
