Multex.com Offers Java-Based Portal

Multex.com Inc. unveiled BuzzPower 4.0, an Enterprise Java-based e-community software platform.

BuzzPower 4.0 Portal Edition is built on a pure Java platform. The software can be fully customized and offers built-in support for XML. New features include Oracle and LDAP support, survey and polling capabilities, product reviews, XML-based Buzzlets for rapid e-community publishing, and a redesigned interface. The software provides native support for COM+, Servlets, and Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs).

BuzzPower 4.0 ships with site monitoring, load balancing, and clustering functionality and can be deployed as a standalone offering in Windows NT/2000, Solaris, and Linux environments.
