Farabi Delivers New Host Application Integration Server

Farabi Technology Corp. introduced its HostFront 1.9, a Web-to-hose server that features browser-based host access and enterprise application integration (EAI) components in a single software package. HostFront is a companion package to Microsoft's Host Integration Server 2000.

HostFront's EAI components provide a set of functions that help organizations develop client-side or server-side e-business applications. HostFront is compatible with Windows 2000 DNA architecture. Its EAI components are COM-based and provide real time access to host data in existing 5250 and 3270 applications. The components allow developers to use existing AS/400 and IBM mainframe host application business logic to create new applications. HostFront's EAI components also can be integrated alongside Microsoft COMTI components and Active Server Pages to transform static Web sites into dynamic Web applications.
