Entrust Unveils Web Security and Privacy Solution

Entrust Technologies Inc. unveiled its security and privacy solution Entrust/TruePass, a multi-platform, standards-based solution.

The data protection solution provides security on Web servers by means of digital signatures and encryption, using digital PKI certificates to authenticate users. Additionally, the solution is able to be implemented on any device, whether in the home, office, or wireless.

Entrust/TruePass supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Communicator 4.0 on Windows 95, 98, NT, and 2000, as well as Netscape Communicator 4.0 for Macintosh.
