CyberSafe, Microsoft Team on New Security System

CyberSafe Corp., a provider of enterprise network security solutions, has begun shipping its ActiveTrust Enterprise Edition of security products. ActiveTrust includes interoperability with the Kerberos security component of Windows 2000, made possible through a collaborative effort with Microsoft to extend Kerberos interoperability to enterprise users operating mixed-system environments via ActiveTrust security.

Interoperability between Windows 2000 and ActiveTrust software provides enterprise users with several benefits. Users have the ability to log on with any combination of clients and security servers with a single identity from any CyberSafe-supported platform. Dynamic account and password synchronization is enabled between ActiveTrust and Windows 2000 for all networked systems, and there is a secure single sign-on to application and network resources.
