QLogic Fibre Channel Adapters Certified for W2K

QLogic Corp., a maker of Fibre Channel host bus adapters, has announced that its QLA2200 Series Fibre Channel adapters have passed Microsoft's PC99 test, ensuring compatibility with Windows 2000 both in server and workstation environments. The QLA2200 Series earned Microsoft's Digital Signature and the "Designed for Windows 2000" logo.

The QLA2200 Series passed the PC99 test, Microsoft's most stringent Windows 2000 certification test. PC99 requires compliance with current PCI bus specifications and the advanced control power interface (ACPI) power management specifications for workstations and servers.

QLogic PCI-Fibre Channel host bus adapters are based on a dedicated, single-chip I/O processor.
