Xbridge Offers Instant Access to Mainframe Data

Xbridge Systems Inc. has introduced Xbridge Professional, a product that offers Windows 2000 applications instant access to real-time mainframe data.

Xbridge Professional enables Windows 2000, NT, and 95/98 applications to access data on an OS/390 mainframe so managers can obtain real-time data. The product does not duplicate or migrate all the data, but instead provides the requested data only. The data is then presented in standard Windows format.

Xbridge Professional is built around a three-tier architecture: a mainframe component; a server component; and a client component. This structure allows multiple clients to access the mainframe.

Xbridge Professional is available now, and starts at $20,000. Additional capabilities for HTML, Java Script, and Active X are planned to release later this year.
