Lightspeed Releases Network Management Suite for Windows

Lightspeed Systems has released a bundle of Windows-based network traffic management tools for performance optimization. The Lightspeed IP Network Management Tools Suite is based on Lightspeed's IP Magic Technology platform, a network traffic management architecture that was built to run on Windows NT/2000 and take advantage of pre-configured Windows users and groups.

The suite includes Traffic Control for e-Business, which protects the network gateway and controls network traffic to improve scalability and reliability; QoS Control for e-Business, which provides policy-based network traffic prioritization; Server Control for e-Business, which protects back office applications such as Web servers, e-mail, and DNS, and alerts and takes appropriate action when an applications fails; and Desktop Control for e-Business, which offers a personal firewall for corporate and consumer users.
