Sikich Acquires Gold Microsoft Dynamics Partner PA Group USA

There's some consolidation happening in the Microsoft Dynamics space this week, with Naperville, Ill.-based Sikich LLP announcing its plan to acquire Dynamics specialist and Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) PA Group USA.

The deal, announced on Tuesday, is expected to be finalized by the end of this month for an undisclosed amount.

Sikich, an RCP 350 Microsoft partner, specializes in "technology-enabled professional services." Founded in 1982, it provides technology consultations; accounting and tax services; and solutions around enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), cloud, security and managed services. It has over 1,000 employees across 16 office locations in the United States, and claims over 15,000 customers around the world.

"The addition of PA Group USA is another important step in our ongoing growth efforts," said Jim Drumm, head of technology at Sikich, "which, in the end, enhance our ability to address clients' evolving business needs."

PA Group USA is based in Chattanooga, Tenn., where it also operates its own datacenter. Part of the larger Gruppo PA multinational firm, PA Group USA provides consulting services around Dynamics 365, Microsoft Azure and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Its MES offerings were of particular interest to Sikich, Drumm indicated.

"As we continue to support manufacturers in their digital transformation journeys, PA Group USA will help us strengthen our capabilities in this key industry," he said.

The deal will bring about 20 of PA Group USA's Chattanooga employees into the Sikich team, including CEO Bradley Hanon, who will become a partner at Sikich.

"We're excited to join forces with a major industry player like Sikich," Hanon said. "Our team and our clients will benefit from access to Sikich's deep bench of experts and wide range of digital transformation capabilities."
