Checklists for Transitioning To Microsoft's New Partner Network

Never let it be said that Microsoft doesn't provide a tool for any conceivable scenario. The complex transition to the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) is no exception.
Microsoft Global Partner Experience Lead Eric Ligman posted three partner checklists to his Microsoft Partner SMB Community blog. The checklists detail how to re-enroll in the MPN with a Gold competency, a Silver competency or in the Small Business Specialist program.
Ligman's checklists do a nice job of collecting the disparate MPN tools in one publicly accessible spot, with a straightforward order of action. He said he hoped they'd "make the process as easy to follow for you as possible." The checklist below is adapted from Ligman's Gold competency checklist.
The Silver competency checklist is very similar but a little shorter. It doesn't require step No. 5 on the Customer Satisfaction Index or step No. 6 and its revenue commitments.
The Small Business Specialist Community (SBSC) checklist falls between the two with six steps, though those requirements are fairly different. They include obtaining an Action Pack Solution Provider or Action Pack Development and Design subscription and other SBSC-specific requirements.
Whatever your plans for MPN re-enrollment, Ligman's checklists are a solid place to start and to keep the requirements straight.
